Chanel Kapitanj is a Belgian designer and maker based in Sambreville. Her work explores the tension between rawness and refinement, industrial strength and quiet poetry, resulting in collectible objects where metal stops being a material and becomes a language.

Rooted in a minimalist yet visceral aesthetic, her creations echo a deep fascination for the honesty of metal, the beauty of exposed process, and the singular character of objects made entirely by hand. Each piece is conceived as a functional sculpture Sketches are the starting point. The material has the final word. The result feels both intentional and alive.

Since founding her studio in 2017, Chanel Kapitanj has developed a distinctive body of work that lives at the intersection of collectible design and fine craft. Her preferred materials, brass, steel and copper are worked, bent, and assembled through welding and unconventional surface treatments, textures that bear the trace of their own making, revealing rather than concealing their nature.

Every piece is handmade in her workshop in Sambreville, Belgium, signed and produced in extremely limited quantities. Most are one-of-a-kind works, each one shaped individually from scratch, ensuring no two objects are ever the same. This uncompromising approach makes each creation truly singular.

Her work is represented internationally by Galerie Glustin Paris, Galerie Philia, SM bureau, Cycycy Galery Miami
